Kathleen Rayfuse Calcidise '63

Kathleen Rayfuse Calcidise, Encina class of ’63, will be inducted into Encina Preparatory High School’s Hall of Fame on Friday April 28, 2017.  Kathie started her very successful professional career at Weinstocks Department Stores in Sacramento on a student intern program while at Encina.  Since her time at Weinstocks, Kathie has held senior positions at several prominent companies inclduing Executive VP of Stores for Victoria’s Secret, President of Learningsmith Stores, President of Virgin Megastores, and VP and COO of Apple Retail Stores.  While at Apple, Kathie was responsible for the development and operations of Apple's first 72 stores.  In addition, she was the most senior female executive at Apple during that time, working directly with Steve Jobs to create and manage retail operations.
